TUTANKHAMUN · 16 STEPSNovember 1922. Howard Carter has spent six winters finding nothing in the Valley of the Kings when a step appears: the first of sixteen, leading down to a sealed door. What came next fits into five episodes of about two minutes: gold by candlelight, a secret entry, a death, a curse invented by the press and a fight over the tomb. A documentary series recreated with AI, with lines in Carter's own words, that ends with a question: what if there is one more door?
