Terms of Service

AIMovies is a user-generated-content platform for AI-generated films, series, shorts and trailers: creators publish their work, viewers watch it, and the Studio lets creators generate new footage with platform-managed AI providers. The service is evolving — features may change, be added or be withdrawn.

• You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to create an account.
• Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• Provide accurate information and don't impersonate another person or channel.

You retain ownership of everything you upload or generate on AIMovies. We claim no ownership of your films.

So we can operate the service, you grant AIMovies a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, transcode, reproduce, display, stream and distribute your content within the service, and to use stills, trailers and metadata to present and promote your content on AIMovies. This license ends within a reasonable period after you delete the content or your account, except for transient backup copies and content shared or reported before deletion where retention is legally required.

You are responsible for having the rights to everything you publish — see the Community Guidelines and our DMCA policy.

Generations you run in the Studio execute on AI providers managed by AIMovies and are currently billed to the platform, not to you. In return:

• fair-use limits apply (including a daily render limit per account) and may change prospectively;
• you may not resell, automate or bulk-harvest generation capacity;
• generated output is yours to use subject to these terms and the applicable model provider's terms;
• we may introduce paid tiers in the future — never retroactively.

Publishing on AIMovies requires an accurate provenance manifest: the AI models used and the degree of human involvement. Knowingly false provenance is a breach of these terms.

You agree to follow the Community Guidelines. In particular, you will not publish or attempt to publish:

• child sexual abuse material of any kind — real or generated;
• depictions of identifiable real people without their consent, or deceptive deepfakes;
• doxxing or other invasions of privacy;
• spam, engagement manipulation or malware;
• content that is unlawful where you or we operate.

You also agree not to probe, overload or circumvent the security or rate limits of the service.

We may quarantine (place "under review"), remove, age-restrict or de-list content, and may suspend or terminate accounts, when we reasonably believe these terms or the guidelines are breached. Titles that accumulate multiple community reports may be quarantined automatically pending human review. Where practicable we tell you what happened and why, and you can contest a decision at legal@aimovies.com.

We respond to copyright notices under our DMCA policy, including takedowns, counter-notices and a repeat-infringer policy.

The service is provided "as is"and "as available". We don't guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any piece of content — including AI-generated content — is accurate, lawful in your jurisdiction or fit for a particular purpose. Content published by creators is theirs, not ours.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AIMovies is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law — including liability for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury where such limits are not permitted.

You can stop using AIMovies and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms; for anything other than serious or repeated breaches (or legal necessity) we will give you reasonable notice. On termination, sections on ownership, liability and disputes survive.

We may update these terms as the service evolves. For material changes we will give reasonable advance notice (for example, in-product or by email). Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms; if you don't, stop using the service and delete your account.
