Barcelona, 1950s. Seven days before the crumbling Cine Alba closes forever, its old usher Aurelio discovers the projector running by itself at night, screening tomorrow. When the machine finally projects the Alba's own demolition, Aurelio begs the light to change the ending — and learns what the old cinema was really for.
